Originally from
Albertville, I skied with my parents for the first time at the age of 3 and I
loved it. From the age of 7 I continued to practice with competition ski and I
became French Champion and performed on the European Circuit.
I love this
individual sport but also to be part of a group with a huge team spirit, and
that motivated me to become an instructor. I began my teaching career in the ski resort of Les Saisies where I
developed my skills and gained a lot of self-confidence in the “instructor/child”
relationship.
The teaching process I adopt is to help my students to
feel confident whilst teaching them the techniques required, so that they can build
on their ability, progress and experience the pleasures of skiing.
My main motivation: to contribute to children’s
development, happiness and growth. To help them overcome any apprehension of
skiing they may have.
I appreciate it most when students remember us season
after season and I see the strides in their progress but, above all, when
children go home with the stars on their jacket, in their eyes and in their
minds, there is nothing more rewarding.
An internationally recognised know-how, a knowledge of
the mountain environment, professionalism: these are values of the ESF that I have
shared for 18 years.
Besides being a ski instructor, I’m a sports enthusiast,
I appreciate practicing different sports in different environments.
I very much enjoy cycling and I love to travel…
I still believe that the most beautiful ski run in the
world is Le Mont Vallon in Mottaret but my favorite one is La Folyère in La
Tania !
